Hi! I'm Brian Hsu — a Software Engineering Manager in Silicon Valley with a story that didn't start in a computer science classroom. My non-traditional pivot into tech has given me a firsthand understanding of what it takes to navigate career transitions, scale engineering teams, and lead with empathy. That journey also sparked a passion for community building: I run Pivot Software Engineer in Silicon Valley, where I share raw, first-hand career observations, and founded Taiwanese Referral Network — a referral network uniting over 300 overseas Taiwanese professionals to break down information barriers and open doors in the global tech industry.
