This blog is where I keep the longer version of what I usually share on social media: career lessons from a non-traditional path into tech, notes on AI engineering, and observations from building communities in Silicon Valley.
What I write about
Three things, mostly. First, career growth for engineers who did not start in a computer science classroom — I was one of them. Second, AI engineering in practice: agents, RAG, evals, and what actually ships. Third, side projects and community building, including the Taiwanese Referral Network.
How the two languages work
English posts live here; Chinese posts live on the Chinese side. Most posts exist in one language only. When a piece is worth translating, both versions share the same slug and link to each other — like this one.

| AI Engineering | Agents, RAG, evals |
| Community | Referral network, events |
Most career advice is written by people who never changed careers. I try to write the version I needed ten years ago.
